Art is not created - it is discovered.
Nimita’s journey began not in a studio, but in curiosity. As a scientist exploring microscopic worlds, she found herself equally drawn to ancient visual languages that speak to something larger than logic. Through the sacred geometry and symbolic narratives of Madhubani painting, she discovered balance between inquiry and intuition, discipline and devotion.
Her work reimagines the sacred vocabulary of Madhubani painting honoring its ritualistic roots while exploring contemporary expression.
